New · Care check-ins, reimagined

Peace of mind for the people you love — right on time.

Recallection sends caring text, voice, and email check-ins on your schedule — and escalates to you the moment someone needs a hand.

Free while we're in beta. Install on iPhone or Android in two taps — or set up and manage check-ins from any desktop browser. No app store required.

Your loved one installs nothing. They just get a friendly text, call, or email — no app, no account, no setup on their end.

Consent-first & TCPA-compliant Private by design Fires to the second Backup-caregiver escalation

Caring for someone you love is a quiet, constant job. We built Recallection so that staying on top of it — and being told the moment a loved one needs a hand or doesn't answer — doesn't all have to live in your head.

Who it's for

One simple tool, many kinds of care

If someone in your life could use a gentle, reliable nudge — and you'd want to know if they didn't answer — Recallection is for you.

Aging parents

A daily “did you take your medicine?” with a real safety net if they don't reply.

Busy family life

Keep kids' routines, chores, and appointments on track — without doing the nagging yourself.

Living alone or recovering

A gentle daily check, so someone is told if a loved one goes quiet.

Yourself

Your own meds, bills, and to-dos — nudged right on time, on the channel you like.

How it works

Set it once. We carry the worry.

Schedule a check-in in under a minute. Recallection delivers it on time, listens for a reply, and loops you in only when it matters.

1

Schedule it

Add the person you care for, then pick a one-off or recurring time — meds, appointments, or a simple “thinking of you.”

2

We reach out

At the exact moment, they get a warm message by text, voice call, or email — whichever suits them best.

3

They reply

A tap of 1 for “all good,” 2 for “I need help,” or a message in their own words. Works on text, keypad, or the web.

4

You stay in the loop

You get one clear alert per response — and if no one replies in time, the backup chain kicks in automatically.

Install it where you'll use it

Recallection installs straight from your browser — no app store, no download. Add it to your phone's home screen for one-tap access and banner alerts, or set up and manage everything from any desktop browser. However you use it, your check-ins stay in sync.

On iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open recallection.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
  4. Tap Add — then open Recallection from your home screen and sign in.

Not seeing “Add to Home Screen”? You’re probably in an in-app browser (a link opened inside Messages, Mail, Instagram, etc.). Tap the ••• or compass icon and choose “Open in Safari” first — only Safari can add apps to your home screen.

On Android (Chrome)

  1. Open recallection.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen.”
  4. Confirm — then open Recallection from your home screen and sign in.

On your computer

  1. Open recallection.com in any browser — Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
  2. Tap Open app and sign in — schedule check-ins, set up alerts, add recipients, and review history on a full-size screen.
  3. Optional: in Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar to keep Recallection as a desktop app.
  4. One note: lock-screen banner alerts work best on a phone, so install on iPhone or Android too if you want notifications on the go.

Never carry it alone

A safety net that climbs the chain

This is the part a calendar or phone reminder can't do. A reminder pings you and trusts it landed; Recallection waits for their reply. If a check-in goes unanswered within the window you choose, it works down your backup list — so a missed message is caught, not lost.

Meet them where they are

Three ways to reach, one way to relax

Some folks live on text. Others answer a phone call. Pick what works for each person — switch any time.

Text message

A friendly SMS they can answer with a single tap — 1, 2, or their own words. Replies route straight back to you.

Voice call

A spoken check-in read in a natural voice, with keypad replies. If it reaches voicemail, the message is left clearly — and repeated so nothing is cut off.

Email

A warm, branded note with the same one-tap replies — ideal for appointment nudges and gentle reminders.

What your person can reply to a check-in

  • 1 or DONEAll good — their check-in is marked acknowledged.
  • 2 or HELPThey need a hand — you're alerted right away and the backup chain begins.
  • Their own words“Running late,” “call me” — passed straight to you as a note and a banner, and saved to your dashboard.
  • STOPOpts out completely — future check-ins stop and you're notified.
Everything you need

Thoughtful features, beautifully simple

Built for real caregiving — recurring routines, medications, shared duties, and the small touches that say “I'm here.”

Recurring routines

Daily meds, weekly calls, monthly bills — set a rhythm and forget the calendar math.

Medications & adherence

Track doses and see a clear history of what was taken and when — a helpful nudge and record, not a substitute for a medical or adherence device.

Location & photo replies

A recipient can share where they are or send a photo with a single tap when they need a hand.

Shared caregiving

Invite siblings or a partner as collaborators and split the load on the same recipients.

Reusable templates

Save your favorite messages — including the reply buttons and escalation settings — and reuse them in a tap.

Instant banner alerts

Get a push notification on your phone the second a recipient needs help.

Calendar & digests

See everything on a calendar and get a tidy periodic summary by email.

Check on yourself, too

Add your own to-dos and let Recallection nudge you — it's not just for others.

Consent built in

Every recipient confirms by reply before a single message goes out — respectful and compliant.

Honest by design

Built on consent, privacy, and candor

Everyone opts in

A recipient must reply YES to confirm consent before any check-in is sent — TCPA-compliant double opt-in, every time. They can reply STOP to end messages whenever they like.

Your data stays yours

Every page and message travels over an encrypted connection. We collect only what's needed to deliver check-ins, never sell personal information, and keep a documented record of each recipient's consent. Even our access logs store just a salted, irreversible fingerprint of a visitor's address — never the raw IP. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

A best-effort tool — not an emergency service

Recallection is a convenience and communication tool. It is not a medical, monitoring, or emergency service, and message delivery isn't guaranteed. For an urgent situation, always call your local emergency number. It also depends on third-party providers (such as Render for hosting and Twilio for messaging) being operational. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Does the person I care for need to install anything?
No. They just receive a text, phone call, or email and reply the normal way — 1, 2, or in their own words. Only you, the caregiver, use the Recallection app.
What happens if no one responds?
If a check-in goes unanswered within the window you choose, Recallection escalates down your backup-caregiver chain until someone acknowledges. You decide whether and how you're alerted — email, text, phone call, or an app banner.
How will I be notified when someone replies?
You get one clear alert per response — a banner and a text in real time — plus a tidy periodic digest by email. (Banner notifications need the app installed on iPhone — see the install steps.)
Is it private and consent-based?
Yes. Every recipient must reply YES to confirm consent before a single check-in is sent (TCPA double opt-in), and they can reply STOP to end messages any time. We collect only what's needed and never sell personal information — see our Privacy Policy.
Can I check in on myself?
Absolutely. Add yourself as a recipient and schedule your own reminders — medications, bills, to-dos — on whichever channel you prefer.
What devices does it work on?
Recipients need nothing but a phone that receives texts, calls, or email. As a caregiver you can use Recallection in any modern browser, or install it on your iPhone, Android phone, or desktop for one-tap access and banner alerts.
Is Recallection a medical or emergency service?
No. It's a best-effort convenience and communication tool — not a medical, monitoring, or emergency service — and message delivery isn't guaranteed. In an urgent situation, always call your local emergency number. See our Terms for details.
What happens if someone unsubscribes?
If a recipient replies STOP (or declines the consent invite), their check-ins stop immediately and any scheduled ones are canceled. You're notified right away — by text, email, and an app banner — and so is any co-caregiver who shares that recipient, so no one keeps assuming check-ins are going out. The recipient gets a short confirmation that they've been unsubscribed.
How do I get someone to re-subscribe after they opt out?
Consent has to come from them — once someone opts out, we can't keep texting them (it's the law). The simplest way back: ask them (in your own call or text) to reply START to the Recallection number, which instantly re-subscribes them. If they have an email on file, re-inviting them from the recipient's page can also reach them with a fresh "I agree" consent link to tap. Either way, they opt back in themselves — then you can schedule check-ins again.
